Snickerdoodles: Lingaminimalist

Psychedelic Hippo: Thanks to the Martyrologist for cleaning up a photo of a favorite hippo sculpture from Zimbabwe.

Bells-and-whistles fatigue: I got really tired of all the junk in the sidebar so I just wiped it all out. Not only that, but I set the blog to only display one post per page. You can see the five most recent posts in the sidebar. Let me know if this is driving you nuts.

“Warm Heart of Africa” is Malawi’s official slogan. Two of my blogger friends have posted some terrific photos of this beautiful country: The Former Optimist gives you the tourist eye view of the place while Victor Kaonga shows some of the scenes of common life.

Virgin birth and Inerrancy: Despite this being a really slow time of the year for blogging, some friends have been posting on a couple of hot topics: Check out Peter Kirk’s Fully Human and Born of a Virgin, Jim West’s A Simple Challenge to Fundamentalists and Doug Chaplin with Take the literal sense literarily not literally.

I’m on a list of dangerous individuals. And pretty proud to find myself lumped in with this distinguished group.

It’s breakfast time so I’d better post this and get the day started.
